Venusaur (フシギバナ) is the final evolutionary stage of Bulbasaur. It was also the mascot for the original Pokemon Green Gameboy game (only released in Japan in 1996). It is also the mascot of the remake released in 2004, Pokemon LeafGreen. As such it is highly popular. As a first generation Pokémon there is also a lot of merchandise to collect for it.

  • Venusaur, along with other Gen 1 starter final evolution Pokemon Charizard, were the only two Gen 1 starter final evolution Pokemon to get a Mega Block, while Blastoise missed out.
  • Venusaur has the least amount of plush out of the Gen 1 starter final evolutions.
  • Venusaur, along with Blastiose, has not yet gotten a Pokedoll even though they both have Pokedoll art and figures. Meanwhile, Charizard has gotten a Pokedoll.
